Seafood Chowder

This one came about on a Friday when I didn't want to spend my day cooking and I knew everyone was going to be available for dinner at a different time. The answer ... the crockpot and a fish and shrimp soup that people could ladle up whenever they were ready.

1/2 lb Cod,Or Other White Fish, Cubed
1/2 lb Shrimp,Peeled
4 Potatoes,Shredded
2 Carrots,Shredded
1/2 Onion,Finely Chopped
1/2 Red Bell Peppers,Finely hopped
1/2 c Celery,Finely Chopped
2 c Water
1 T Low Sodium Chicken Bouillon
1 c Skim Milk
1 t Seafood Seasoning

Place fish and shrimp in slow cooker. Add vegetables. Combine water and bouillon powder. pour over meat and vegetables. Add milk and seasoning. Stir to mix. Cook on low 8-10 hours.

Yield: 6 Servings
