Gourmet Burgers

Yeah, I eat more red meat than I should. We seem to be on a beef kick here lately. Fresh ground beef works better than previously frozen for this. Don't succumb to the bread crumbs and eggs suggestions for burgers. That's just filler ... we'll make meat loaf next week.

1 1/4 pounds ground beef
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Mix all ingredients together. Form into 4 patties, taking care not to compress them more than necessary. Grill or pan fry.
