German Potato Salad

Cold weather makes cold salads less than ideal. So ... how about a hot salad. I left out the bacon that is traditional in German potato salad, but I can't say I really missed it. If you feel like you can deal with the extra sodium, put a slice of two of low sodium bacon or a tablespoon of bacon bits in with the onion while it sautes.

6 Potatoes,Cooked And Sliced
1/4 c Oil
3/4 c Onion,Chopped
2 T Flour
2 T Sugar
1/2 t Celery Seed
ds Black Pepper
3/4 c Water
1/8 c White Wine Vinegar

Heat oil in a large frying pan. Add onion and saute until tender, but not brown. Stir in flour sugar, celery seed and pepper. Cook over low heat until smooth and bubbly. Stir in water and vinegar. Bring to a boil. Stir in potatoes and heat thoroughly
