Emeril's Creole Seasoning

This should make a good basic Cajun or Creole seasoning if you are having trouble finding one that is low enough in sodium. The one I use is Tones and it has 45 mg per 1/4 teaspoon. I can't imagine having more than 1/2 teaspoon at the absolute most in a serving, so that isn't too bad. I believe Paul Prudhome is now marketing some salt-free seasonings also. And Healthy Heart Market has a number of good Cajun seasonings.

2 1/2 T Paprika
1 T Garlic Powder
1 T Black Pepper
1 T Onion Powder
1 T Cayenne
1 T Oregano
1 T Thyme

Mix together and store in an airtight jar.
