Brownie Mix

I haven't tried this one yet, but if you are a chocoholic and need a way to make an easy batch of something chocolate, you might want to give it a try.

3 3/4 c Sugar
2 1/3 c Flour
1 1/3 c Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 T Sodium Free Baking Powder
2 c Shortening

Combine dry ingredients and cut in shortening until mixture resembles corn meal. Store in a airtight container. To make brownies, measure 2 1/2 cups of mix into a bowl. Stir in 1/2 cup of egg substitute and a teaspoon of vanilla. Spread in a greased 8x8 pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
