Beef And Bacon In Beer

A tasty English meal to make in the crockpot, serve with baked potatoes or mashed potatoes and vegetables.

1 1/2 lb Stew Beef,cubed
3 T Flour
4 sl Low Sodium Bacon
1 Onion,finely chopped
4 ea garlic
1 t Mustard
2 t No Salt Added Tomato Sauce
1 pt Beer,Dark Beer Preferred
1 t Low Sodium Beef Bouillon
4 T oil
1 t Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t sugar

Toss the beef in the flour until covered. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan or wok and fry the beef until brown. Remove the meat. Gently fry the onion and the garlic until soft and transparent in the remaining oil. Return the meat to the pan with the onion and garlic. Add the remaining ingredients and cook until the sauce thickens. Put in the crockpot and cook for approximately 7 hours or until tender
